The name "evolution" suggests an elemental, primitive concept - a simple beginning for more complex contemporary ideas that evolve from it. The two hand carved legs are identical, held together with a simple notched joint. Their sculptural, organic shape could be a fin, or a webbed foot of some prehistoric creature.
